Kuwait Specialized Eye Center Hosted Live Surgeries from Kuwait, Asia for the 37th Annual Meeting of American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) which was held from Jul 26 – 30, 2019 at Hyatt Regency, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
30th July 2019 saw the debut of Live Surgery Symposium in ASRS.
Ophthalmic Experts viewed challenging cases in vitreoretinal surgeries which was broadcasted live to the Chicago auditorium from three surgery sites in the United States, Europe and Kuwait.
The Surgeries were perfromed by the best surgeons in the world of retina.

Dr. Khalid Al Sabti Performed 3 complicated live Surgeries Successfully. which included 2 Retinal Detachment cases, one of them being a Re-op.
The Surgeries were fascinating, the fact that Dr. Khalid used challenging techniques to drain Subretinal Fluids and using a newly developed & put-together instrument in KSEC to get the surgery done Successfully.
